-change out the 3 potmeters for multiturn pots.
This helps to set the frequency with far better precision.

I used 20k Bourns with a plastic shaft.
(i experienced some interference with metal shafts)

Be sure to check the pinout of the multiturn pots. The output pin on the ones I used was different than normal pots!
